 | Fishing
is only permitted when the green flag is flying under the American flag on
the island.

 | Fishing
start and close times are ½ hour before sunrise and ½ hour after sunset.
No night fishing is permitted on any lake or pond.
|
 | The
use of minnows for bait, chumming, and seining is prohibited.
|
 | No
cleaning fish in the lake, on the ground around lakes, or in the restroom.
|
 | You
may not fill another person’s daily limit.
|
 | Remove
all trash when you leave.
|
 | Pets
must be leashed while on common property and droppings picked up by the
owner.
|
 | Parents
have a responsibility to ensure the safety of their children while on common
property.
|
 | No
motorized vehicles of any kind are permitted on trails, lakes, ponds, dams
or common property.
|
 | No
overnight parking is permitted in the pavilion parking lot or on any other
common property.
|
 | No
hunting, trapping or discharge of firearms is permitted on any common
property.
|
 | Any
unsafe or disruptive activity will result in removal from common property
and may result in loss of fishing privileges and/or membership.
|
 | Swimming
and wading is not permitted in any lake or pond at any time.
|
 | Jet
skis and water skiing are not permitted in any lake or pond at any time.
|
 | Times
for Ice Fishing vary based on depth of ice. Ice fishing is only
permitted on Burgess
Lake. Watch for the green flag on
the island to know when it is permitted; however, still proceed on ice with
caution.
|
 | No
fishing holes can be more than 10 inches in diameter, or 10 inches square.
|
 | No
ice fishing is permitted near aerator, 50 feet from the face of the dam, or
50 feet from the creek entrance on the south end of the lake.
|
 | Ice
huts may be used, but must be removed daily.
|
 | No
fires are permitted on the lake/ice.
|
 | No
throwing rocks, sticks or anything else on the ice.
|
 | No
motorized vehicles are permitted on the ice at anytime.
|
 | Property
owners are responsible for making sure they, as well as their guests and
renters, are aware of these rules. |

FISHING RULES
Ice
fishing is only open when the green flag is flying on the island; however, you
will still need to proceed with caution!

Fees
for Ice Fishing are the same as applicable daily fishing fees for fishing this
year. The money collected will go towards stocking additional fish in the
spring.
ANY
VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF FISHING PRIVILEGES AND/OR
MEMBERSHIP.
